Radical Tenderness at The Centre for Gender Studies, University of Lausanne (27 March, hybrid)

The Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Lausanne is inaugurating the seminar series ‘Tenderness: queer and feminist politics and poetics’, organised by Alejandra del Rocio Bello Urrego. I will be sharing some of my art-life work with radical tenderness in the first session, taking place in hybrid mode this thursday 27 March. If you want to join in presence or zoom check info on the event webpage.

“This seminar looks at tenderness as a feminist perspective rooted in the global South and its relationship with the paradigm of care. It uses the methodology of reflection in conversation and sensitive pedagogies around three questions: What is the political significance of tenderness? What does tenderness do to our bodies? What does it mean to practise tenderness?”

For the first session, we are delighted to welcome
