Photo Performance, 2011
Installation by Dani d’Emilia
Performance by Dani d’Emilia & Angela Alegria
Photos by Dugald Ferguson

I originally created 47 Bones as a performance installation.
When I first made it, I dedicated it to someone I have loved for many years.
Years later, this person became my partner, and together we created (N)OSSOS, a photo performance in which we we laid together within this symbolic organic and affective structure that holds us together in this ever changing life journey.

If you died it would be like my bones had been removed.
No one would know why, but I would collapse.
