Performance workshop at Free Home University (Lecce, Italy)

In June 2016 I was invited to be one of the mentors of the 2016 edition of Free Home University (FHU), an autonomous pedagogical experiment that situates artistic thinking at the centre of how we learn. Inspired by traditions of emancipatory and radical pedagogies, it exists as an alternative to institutionalized education.

During the 3 week residency in Ammirato Cultural House (Lecce, Italy) we shared numerous pedagogical activities including a 5 day performance workshop I facilitated mixing exercises from my work with La Pocha Nostra alongside other physical and critical performance practices I have developed in other contexts.
